This Contributor License Agreement (“CLA”) documents the terms under which contributions are accepted into the Juno project (“Project”), maintained by Dmytro Soloviov and the ml-cab collective (“Maintainers”).
By submitting a contribution: including pull requests, patches, documentation, or any other code or content: to the Juno repository, you accept and agree to the following terms. If you are contributing on behalf of an employer, you additionally confirm that your employer has authorised the contribution under these terms, or you must sign the Corporate CLA (contact dev@ml.cab).
1. Definitions¶
“Contribution” means any original work of authorship, including modifications and additions, intentionally submitted by you to the Project.
“Submitted” means any form of electronic or written communication sent to the Maintainers, including pull requests, issues with patches attached, and email submissions.
2. License Grant to Maintainers¶
You hereby grant to the Maintainers and to recipients of software distributed by the Maintainers a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contributions and derivative works, under the Apache License 2.0 or any future OSI-approved open-source license that the Project adopts.
3. Patent License Grant¶
You hereby grant to the Maintainers and to recipients of software distributed by the Maintainers a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Project, where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable by you that are necessarily infringed by your Contribution alone or by combination of your Contribution with the Project.
4. Representations¶
You represent that:
a. You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses. If your employer has rights to intellectual property you create, you represent that your employer has waived such rights for the Contribution or that you have received permission to contribute.
b. Your Contribution is your original creation, or you have clearly identified all third-party material included and confirmed it is under a license compatible with Apache 2.0.
c. Your Contribution does not, to the best of your knowledge, violate any third-party patent, copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
d. You are not aware of any pending or threatened claim, litigation, or proceeding that would affect the rights you grant under this CLA.
5. Disclaimer¶
Your Contributions are provided on an AS IS basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation any warranties of title, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
6. How to Sign¶
Individual contributors: opening a pull request constitutes acceptance of this CLA. You may optionally add a line to your commit message:
